My taste in music is broad and this can be attributed to a number of factors: coming from a European background; having parents who have an interest in classsical music and opera; having played the piano accordion at a very young age; playing piano at a later age; growing up in the 60's and 70's.

The music I love ranges from Gregorian Chants to classical to rock to spriritual, New Age.

Gregorian chants, Bach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninoff, Delibes, The Beatles, Split Enz, Savage Garden, Coldplay, Enigma, Louis Armstrong, Muddy Waters, Joe Cocker, Philip Glass, Pink Floyd, Elvis Costello, Eric Clapton, John Lennon, George Harrison, Ravi Shankar, Karl Jenkins, Enya, KD Lang, Dido, Diana Krall, Norah Jones, Christina Aguilera.

It is not surprising in view of my European background that Russian music deeply moves me as does the passion and flamboyance evoked in Spanish & Latin-American music. I was also introduced to Indian music in the late 70's by a hippy friend of mine and the uplifting spirituality resonating from this music immediately appealed to me.

My 'Split Enz' outfitOne of the first live music events I went to was a Split Enz concert. I loved their zany outfits and offbeat music.
